Although there are still plenty of players still exploring all of the content available in Skyrim, Bethesda is already working on new content for the mega-hit RPG. Speaking with Kotaku at DICE, director Todd Howard explained how Skyrim DLC would differ from Fallout 3. “For Fallout 3 we did five DLCs […]That was a very aggressive path for us. Our plan now is to take more time, to have more meat on them [for Skyrim]. They’ll feel closer to an expansion pack.”
Some examples of possible new downloadable content has already been teased in the past few weeks. Although there are no concrete plans at the moment, Bethesda did tease several possible additions to the latest Elder Scrolls title. Riding dragons, for instance. Or a new quest line that allows players to become lord of the vampires. And, uh, healthier looking giants.
At the moment, there’s no word on when we can expect new Skyrim content. Whenever it comes out though, I think it is safe to say that it’s going make some significant changes to one of the top games of 2011.
