Call of Duty: Black Ops Headed to Mac This Fall

After nearly 2 years after its initial release for consoles, mobile platforms, and Windows PCs, Call of Duty: Black Ops will be playable on Macs.

Gamers who buy the Mac version will still be able to buy the game’s four downloadable content packs. The First Strike, Escalation,¬†Annihilation, and Rezurrection content add-ons will be available later this year,¬†presumably¬†when the game is on sale.

As a Mac user, this is a long time coming, but as a Call of Duty fan I can’t help but think; why? In the past 2 years Black Ops 1 has been on the market, Modern Warfare 3 was released and Black Ops 2 was announced – a game that is slated for release this fall. Although, better late than never I suppose.
