After nearly 2 years after its initial release for consoles, mobile platforms, and Windows PCs, Call of Duty: Black Ops will be playable on Macs.
Gamers who buy the Mac version will still be able to buy the game’s four downloadable content packs. The First Strike, Escalation, Annihilation, and Rezurrection content add-ons will be available later this year, presumably when the game is on sale.
As a Mac user, this is a long time coming, but as a Call of Duty fan I can’t help but think; why? In the past 2 years Black Ops 1 has been on the market, Modern Warfare 3 was released and Black Ops 2 was announced – a game that is slated for release this fall. Although, better late than never I suppose.
