In a recent interview with Official Playstation Magazine UK, Tore Blystad – the game’s director – predicts that roughly 80% of the customers who buy Hitman: Absolution won’t stick around to finish the game.
“The general player will probably never even finish the game, which is very sad. Or they might only play through it once, but the game is built for the people who want to go back through every single level and get all the stuff out of it. It’s built to last, rather than be a one-off experience.”
It is not common for this to be the case with games. Because of the price tag for games – $59.99 – and with the amount of games the average gamer possesses, it is tough to play one game continuously.
This may be seen as a challenge by the developer, however. I certainly see it as such. Hitman: Absolution looks promising and like a lot of fun.
Hitman: Absolution is set for release on November 20th of this year for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
Will you be able to finish the game?
