IGN’s own Colin Moriarty reported they had a chat with PlayStation’s Director of Product Planning and Platform Software Innovation, Don Mesa. Mesa has told IGN that there will be more than 100 games coming to the Vita this year. This is great news to the eyes and ears, for any owner of the device. Although this isn’t all Mesa had to say. There is some surprising statistics in the article as well.
“In a survey Sony conducted with Vita gamers, they learned … the craziest stat? The average Vita owner uses the handheld 18.7 hours every week.”
Mesa promised that there are some big cats in the bag, but don’t get too happy if you’re not a fan of indie games. He has apparently put a lot of importance on upcoming indie games. To name a few Thomas was Alone, and Hotline Miami was listed in their article.
