Slew Of New Wii U And 3DS Release Dates Confirmed

Now that the holiday season is over, Nintendo is turning attention to their next line up of games, set to be released in the near future for the Wii U and 3DS.

Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing had this to say about their upcoming releases:

During the holidays we saw new players respond positively to new game-play experiences using the Wii U GamePad controller and the true 3D of Nintendo 3DS.”

He then continued,

With such a diverse lineup of games on the horizon, people will experience a variety of ways to play, whether they’re using the GamePad to scan for criminals or seeing ghosts in 3D on the Nintendo 3DS screen.”

With so many exciting releases coming out, Nintendo fans are sure to find something fun to play.

Noteworthy Upcoming Titles For Wii U

The Wii U marked the largest lineup of launch games in Nintendo console history. They look to continue that trend with Lego City: Undercover, in stores on March 18th, 2013. In this Wii U exclusive title, gamers take on the role of police officer Chase McCain as he hunts down the ruthless criminal mastermind Rex Fury.

On March 19th, 2013, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate makes its way to the Wii U (and 3DS).  Gamers will be able to customize their character, hunt monsters and participate in more than 200 difficult missions.

Game & Wario, The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3 and Wii Fit U are now all set to arrive on the Wii U in the first half of 2013, with more info to be revealed in the upcoming future.

Furthermore, Nintendo will be releasing a new Wii U GamePad accessory set to ensure gamers get the best quality out of their controller. The pack will retail for $12.99 and will include a screen protector, an extra-large stylus and a cleaning cloth.
