If gamers are one thing, it’s impatient. We hate waiting for new things. That’s why multiplayer numbers for most games will peak just after launch. That’s why Gamestops will host packed midnight release parties for every Call of Duty game. That’s why PS4 owners have been begging Sony for the ability to pre-load digital games that they pre-ordered, and, beginning with the release of Bungie’s Destiny, every digital PS4 release will be available for pre-loading, according to an announcement on the PSN store.
Those who pre-order Watch Dogs on the PSN are being shown this message:
There’s no word if any games will be available for pre-loading between now and September 9th (when Destiny is set to release). This likely means Microsoft will make some sort of statement in the coming months, perhaps at E3.
