Batman: Arkham Knight Announced for Xbox One, PS4, and PC

After several leaks, reports, and rumors, the next-gen Batman game, Batman: Arkham Knight, has finally been announced! Set one year after Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Knight sees Batman continuing his career as a vigilante after the dramatic events of City.

Once again, the game is being developed by Rocksteady, the makers of the first two games in the series, Asylum and Arkham City. The game is next-gen exclusive and based on the trailer, it will be a truly definitive Batman experience. The villains include the usual suspects; the Penguin, Two-Face, Scarecrow, and Harley Quinn.

Also, for the first time, the Batmobile will driveable with features such as remote calling (e.g, whistling for your horse in Red Dead Redemption) and the ability to eject from the driver seat and propel Batman into the air to glide. The Batmobile can drive through just about anything, much like the Tumbler from the Dark Knight Trilogy.

Also, the voice of Batman/Bruce Wayne has been handed, once again, to Kevin Conroy, who voiced him in Rocksteady’s first two Batman games.

And, last but not least, Gotham City in Arkham Knight will be around 5 times the size of Arkham City and will actually be populated. No more ghost towns for this series.

So, what do you think of the new game from Rocksteady? Let us know in the comments!
