Not long after the announcement of the new Tekken 7 character, Lucky Chloe, series director Katsuhiro Harada announced over Twitter that the catsuit-wearing warrior would only be available in Europe and East Asia.
Lucky Chloe first made the scene during the 20th anniversary celebration of the Tekken series. She was one of the first new characters to be officially announced, but Harada promises there will be other novel additions to the cast, though whether or not these will be region exclusives is unclear.
Negative feedback from the community may have been the cause of Chloe’s regional exclusivity, and Harada’s tweet regarding giving Westerners a “muscular & skinhead character” seems to reinforce that fact.
The release date for Tekken 7 seems to vary depending on where you read it, with reports claiming anywhere from February 2015 to May 2015.
