Gearbox announced the arrival of a new playable character and a concept for new campaign missions for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel during their time on the PAX South panel on Saturday.
Lady Hammerlock, the sister of Sir Hammerlock, will be available as a playable character starting January 27, 2015. Along with the ability to project ice shards and convert other players into “manservants”, Lady Hammerlock will also feature heavy sniper-based perks.
As for the upcoming DLC, little else was mentioned during the panel regarding the campaign missions, save for that they will be taking place inside Claptrap’s mind. Gearbox also announced that they are working towards a patch that will make the bosses of Elpis farmable for loot and experience.
Those who have already purchased the Pre-Sequel Season Pass will be able to pick up Lady Hammerlock for free.
