It was no more than a month ago when Codemasters first teased the third installment to the main Overlord series, and it seems they’ve made good on their threats with the release of a brand new teaser (above).
After spending a few minutes recapping the tragic events of the last two Overlord games, the trailer exclaims that “Evil has a new face..uh, well, four actually,” hinting at four person player compatibility. A snippet from the trailer itself shows the ghastly outline of four bedecked warriors, possibly teasing the physical appearance of each playable character.
Another screenshot of the video shows a tiny bit of the top-down gameplay. Fans of the series will understand the huge step in a different direction, as previous Overlord games were played from a third-person perspective (minus the Overlord: Minions spin off). The end of the trailer promises further details for tomorrow, April 23, at 6:00 AM PST.
