Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Gets Closed Beta, New Trailer

Can’t wait for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst‘s May release date? Then how about signing up for the closed beta? Developer EA DICE has yet to announce when the beta will start, but players can go ahead and register now to be one of the first to run a mile in Faith’s shoes before the game launches. EA DICE has also released a new story trailer to accompany the news, showing players that the game will be very cinematically different from its 2008 predecessor, Mirror’s Edge, and offering new, in-game footage.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be releasing on May 24th for Xbox One, PS4, and through Origin on PC. Those with either an EA Access or Origin Access account will be able to play the game on Xbox One or PC before PS4 players, respectively, for a limited time.

Nick Ransbottom

Hoping to one day escape his Southern roots of West Virginia, Nick aspires for a career as a video game journalist. Though he suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, he doesn't let his disease stand in the way of him being what friends call "morbidly depressing," "pretentious beyond belief", "horrifically unfunny," and "an altogether terrible person." When he's not playing and writing about video games, he spends his time writing creatively and binge-watching TV shows on Netflix.
