In an announcement via Twitter, Remedy Entertainment revealed they were working on the main campaign of Crossfire 2, a sequel to a free-to-play FPS made by the South Korea-based developer SmileGate. Originally launched in 2007, the game has been brought to North America and Europe in the years since, going on to be named the world’s top grossing game of 2014 by The Korea Herald. Remedy’s last game, Quantum Break, released earlier this year, and there is currently no release date slated for Crossfire 2.
