SUPERHOT Gets Announcement Trailer

After first coming to fruition in the 7 Day FPS Game Jam competition and being followed by a highly successful Kickstarter campaign, the unique FPS SUPERHOT finally has a release date, and you won’t have to wait much longer. PC and Mac players can expect the game on February 25th (and yes, it does support Linux), while Xbox One owners will have to wait a few more weeks afterwards before they can get their hands on it.

SUPERHOT is described as a “time-bending shooter” that has you blurring the lines between strategy and mayhem. Unique to the game is its time mechanic, where time only moves when you do. There’s no health bars or ammo drops, meaning you’ll have to figure out a way to dispatch and disarm enemies strategically, all while surviving an onslaught of chaos.

Nick Ransbottom

Hoping to one day escape his Southern roots of West Virginia, Nick aspires for a career as a video game journalist. Though he suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, he doesn't let his disease stand in the way of him being what friends call "morbidly depressing," "pretentious beyond belief", "horrifically unfunny," and "an altogether terrible person." When he's not playing and writing about video games, he spends his time writing creatively and binge-watching TV shows on Netflix.
