Those who played Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind will be well familiar with the legend, but for those who aren’t, Clockwork City is a mechanical city that hides treasure and peril for those who enter it. Players will journey to the city through an all new campaign with 35 missions spread across three acts. Each act is available for $7.99 or 1,000 gold, and the total bundled campaign is available for $19.99.
In addition to new campaign mission the Return to Clockwork City expansion comes with 50 new cards, two new mechanics, “Assemble” and “Treasure Hunt” and a new creature type, Fabricant.
“Assemble” – When players play an assemble creature, they will choose from one of two bonuses that are bestowed upon that creature, and every creature in the player’s hand.
“Treasure Hunt” – When in play, these creatures will constantly be searching for a set of ‘treasures’ in the form of cards the player draws. When all of their treasures have been drawn, the creature will provide the player with a reward.
“Fabricants” – These are part of the neutral card type and will reward players for playing other neutral cards such as the Dwemer constructs. These creatures are powerful and offer new opportunities for deck building.
Return to Clockwork City is out now on PC, iOS and Android. For more info on the development of ESL check out an interview we did with the developers at PAX West!
