Penta Sports Wins the Rainbow Six Siege Year 2 Grand Finals

In an instant classic, Penta Sports brought the Siege World Champion title to Europe, beating Evil Geniuses in a 5 map stunner. Evil Geniuses came in as the defending world champions, and looked primed to bring the title back to North America for a second running year. With the backing of the vast majority of the crowd, EG went up 2-0 in dominant fashion, quickly steamrolling Penta, led by team captain Canadian. Penta, with their backs against the wall, came roaring back, winning 2 straight maps to force the final in a best-of-five series.

With all the momentum, Penta made is seem like EG had given up, as they quickly took control of this final contest 4-1. Not to be outdone, and not wanting to go home quite yet, EG countered with 3 straight rounds of their own, knotting up the score and forcing a best-of-three overtime. In two incredible rounds, Penta came out on top, led by 15 kills from Pengu, including the final clutch of the match.
