The Grand Final can be found here.
In a heated battle spanning all three maps, Latin America’s Team Liquid beat EU’s Penta Sports to bring home the first Rainbow Six: Siege title to Latin America. Penta had looked unstoppable all tournament, soundly dispatching both the North American teams, Evil Geniuses and Rogue to storm to the finals. Looking like the heavy favorites, they didn’t disappoint on the first map, leaving no doubt on course to a 5-1 win. While it may have seemed like a formality to play the second map at all, Team Liquid had other plans. Liquid took a commanding 4-2 lead on the backs of S3xycake and Neskgwa fragging like madmen. Penta would eventually come back to force overtime with their backs against the wall, Team Liquid would prevail to bring the grand finals to the third and final map. Liquid had Penta’s number at this point as they made quick work in the final map, taking home the gold.
With the massive changes coming to pro league and the next finals a full 6 months away, the Paris Major in August can’t come soon enough.
