The second entry in the Oddworld quintology, Oddworld: Soulstorm, is coming to PC in spring 2021 and is currently available for pre-purchase on the Epic Game Store, with PlayStation pre-orders launching at a later date.
Continuing Abe’s story from Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, Soulstorm tracks the Mudokon revolutioon against RuptureFarms and the Magog Cartel. As an action platformer with RPG elements, Soulstorm allows players to choose their playstyle, craft weapons, pickpocket enemies, and build up a following. In addition to a twisted narrative that promises at least 15 hours of gameplay, Soulstorm will also feature level leaderboards for players to track and compare their progress.
