We have some good news! With your help, Agent Jones has successfully contained the Zero Point! Now other news… The containment of the Zero Point has caused reality as we know it to break down, destroying much of the technology on the Island. What does this mean for you? Well long story-short: the central desert that we all used as a hunting ground has been completely transformed into a sprawling, primal landscape.
You may feel the primal force that drives us all, calling you to adapt to the Island’s changes. Don’t worry, that’s a good thing! Now we’re here to guide you on how to become a certified survivor in Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 6.
Carnivores and Crafting
The Island is now crawling with Wildlife that tends to be more feisty than friendly. However, you can use this to your advantage, as successfully taking down these beasts will provide you with their resources. What to do with these new resources? Craft! This Season you can craft a new weapon type: Primal weapons!
Additionally, you can craft familiar weapons like the Pump Shotgun and Assault Rifle. To craft these, you will need to harvest resources from remaining machinery such as cars. Primal weapons and familiar favorites are also available in the loot pool, but you can craft them on demand as long as you have a “Makeshift” weapon and the proper resources.
While on the topic of new weapons and crafting, we have to ask: how good is your archery? Now that we’re in a new Primal era, Bows are all over the Island, and like the weapons previously discussed, there are different versions you can craft. To start, use Animal Bones to change a Makeshift Bow into a Primal Bow; or Mechanical Parts to change it into a Mechanical Bow. From there, there are still four different Bow possibilities!
Try to find what flammable substance or organism you can combine with the Primal Bow to make the Flame Bow. Also, you probably won’t be shocked to find out what you need to turn a Mechanical Bow into a Shockwave Bow.
With this knowledge, we challenge you to discover all of the types of Bows you can create with the power of crafting. Forge your way to victory!
Brave the New Primal World
The introduction of the Primal biome has brought forth many new locations to explore. Ascend the towering Spire that stands at the center of the Island. Unlock the mysteries of the Guardian Towers that sit at the outskirts of the biome. Try your luck at the formidable Boney Burbs. Gaze at the autumnal orange sights untouched by modern life.
