It was only a matter of time before the success of GTAV’s first-person conversion convinced others to try the same thing. Thanks to the ingenuity of a clever PC gamer, a first-person mod for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is now available for PC.
The mod, carefully constructed by “Pao”, can be found here. But while it allows players to experience Snake’s world as he sees it, the alteration is far from perfect, sometimes forcing items to disappear or clip.
YouTuber BenBlatcher has provided nearly eight minutes of gameplay, shown below, with commentary regarding the mod and the increased immersion it adds to the game.
